Our client is actively recruiting to add a Bilingual Payroll Specialist (French/English) to its fast-paced and growing payroll team. The Bilingual Payroll Specialist is to be responsible for the full cycle payroll in addition to processing multi-provincial payroll, understanding of collective agreements, ability to prepare monthly payroll reconciliations, and assisting with year-end reporting.
Specific duties that you will be responsible for are set to include:
- Handling payroll inquires both in English and French speaking staff employees located at various locations
- Working with a large team processing full cycle payroll for both Canadian (multi-provinces) and US employees
- Fixing/Adjusting/Editing payroll issues noted in system and through inquires
- Processing payroll increases
The Bilingual Payroll Specialist will be fluently bilingual in both French and English and will have 5+ years of hands-on experience working at a large corporation.
Excellent familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook) is a must in additional to superb attention to details, deadlines, and results driven.
Preference will be afforded to those candidates with Ceridian Payroll experience and completion of their PCP (Canadian Payroll Certification).
